Dynamic Friction Company Unveils Custom Caliper R & R Program

Cerritos, California – Brake component manufacturer DFC (Dynamic Friction Company) announced the unveiling of their newest addition to the DFC brake offering. DFC announced that it would begin offering a custom premium brake caliper R & R Program. Continuing with their desire to meet their customers’ needs, DFC listened and responded quickly by having hard to find brake calipers rebuilt and quickly returned to these awaiting customers.

“Our market research revealed that many of our customers needed a response mechanism that would allow them to send in a difficult to find caliper and have it remanufactured and returned to them in one to two days”, said DFC CEO Dan Nguyen. “We’ve decided to expand the program by offering everything from a quick quality remanufactured turnaround to adding a zinc plated coating within 2-4 days…start to finish and for the more discriminate and those with time to spare, we are even offering a beautifully custom powder coated caliper (black or red) with an unprecedented 5-10 day average turnaround. This program allows our customer base to have a custom manufacturing direct connection without having to deal with a niche specialist.”

DFC brake calipers are remanufactured to the standards of the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) and are guaranteed to meet or exceed the OEM’s strict standards for performance, drivability, and durability.

Any possible heat damage and stress cracking of a phenolic piston cannot easily be determined or identified through normal non-destructive inspection processes. Visual inspections only reveal typical appearance issues such as cracking, chipping or decay. Visual inspections cannot predict the internal condition of the phenolic material.

All DFC GeoSpec Coated brake rotors are specially coated to form a durable and attractive silver-gray finish that fights rust. Each rotor is prepared with a non-directional finish to promote a faster and more even brake pad bed-in, along with quieter and smoother stops.

This marks the third consecutive year DFC has been bestowed with the prestigious award for submitting more part number assignments than its competitive peers.

DFC Announces New 5000 EURO Ceramic Brake Pads – Low Dust & Noise for European Applications!

Southern California based brake supplier, Dynamic Friction Company announced its unveiling 5000 EURO Ceramic Friction. The 5000 EURO Ceramic 5000 Series is the latest addition to the premium friction offering by DFC. The 5000 EURO Ceramic Series is specifically designed to address the unique braking characteristics common in European vehicles.

DFC Co-founder Dino Crescentini state, “We have been very cognizant of the unique braking requirements for European vehicles and their owners. Much like our 5000 Advanced Series which is formulated to mimic O.E. braking characteristics we realized that European vehicles required more refinement due to various extrinsic factors. This time we went one step further…we took into account not only the safety factor in having the application correct coefficient required for optimum braking performance, we also took into account that typical O.E. formulations produce excessive dusting and tend to be noisier. The 5000 EURO Ceramic Series friction will perform exactly like the O.E. material except our new formulation dramatically reduces the unsightly dusting and noise typically associated with O.E. formulations. The DFC 5000 EURO Ceramic friction provides a superior substitute for the original formulation, which utilizes a low-metallic/ceramic combination and is more abrasive and more likely to leave heavy dust residue on the wheels. DFC will offer 300 SKUs with coverage for 2300 European applications.
